In the Montaria mountain village (30 minutes from the city of Viana do Castelo) we offer short riding trips (from 15 minutes to 2 hours) with the donkeys.
From the main square of Montaria, near the local restaurants, we follow an old trail across the corn fields, through the olive trees to reach the Montaria watermills from there we return to the village following an alternative trail.
Children can ride the donkeys while the adults help as co-pilots. The walks are accompanied by an experienced donkey guide.
